Founded in 2024, Honeybee is a music publishing company committed to working with visionaries who will shape culture and have lasting impact in music and beyond. Honeybee emerged organically from a confluence of creative energy at the historic Carriage House in New York City's Lower East Side. Since Gordon McKemie purchased the property in 2021, it has become a nexus for artists passing through NYC, hosting hitmakers like Fred again.., A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, Lil Yachty, and Ed Sheeran. Inspired by the collaboration at Carriage House, Gordon transformed the space into a musical hub, equipping it with recording studios, event spaces, and other resources to facilitate creative production. Writing camps at Carriage House have become core to Honeybee's identity, bringing together both rising talent and established artists like KayCyy, Julien Granel, Badger, and Baauer. These collaborations have not only produced exceptional music but also strengthened Honeybee’s reputation as a catalyst for creativity and innovation in the music industry.
